An application type classifies a mass processing for the purpose of grouping together specific applications (for example, all bank statements) and providing common control for this.

With this setting you can specify which application type is relevant for which other application type.

The application type itself is displayed in the columns (represented by the number of the application type) and the application type for which the application types above are relevant appears in the lines.

The meaning of the traffic-light is as follows:

red = irrelevant

green = relevant

Example

You wish to specify that a bank statement duplicate run is not relevant for the bank statement run itself. In this case, set the traffic-light for the bank statement (application type 0100)in the column bank statement duplicate (application type 0110) in the matrix to red.

This means that in the case of a block on an account by the duplicate run, (for example, the address data is incorrect), a new bank statement can still be created anyway.

Standard settings

In the standard system supplied by SAP, initially all application types are relevant.

Activities

Maintain the application types in accordance with your bank's requirements.
