Use
This activity makes various client-specific settings for the Web Dynpro ABAP ALV:
Allow export function BEx Analyzer
This entry activates and deactivates the function BEx Analyzer in the export function selection list in the Web Dynpro ABAP ALV toolbar. It is only useful to deactivate this function if you have an SAP NetWeaver Application server with Usage Type BI Java.
The export function BEx Analyzer can be set-up, or not, depending on the application. If the application allows the setting, the function is hidden by default.
Allow Crystal Reports
This entry controls centrally, whether Crystal Reports integration is active. If so, the user can display the ALV data as a Crystal Report.
Note:
As a special viewer is required in the front-end for this integration, this option is only useful if this component is installed. See SAP note no. 1353044
(https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1353044)
Java Server available
This entry can deactivate Java functions in ALV. This is useful if you have no Java server, when various functions are not available:
- Print and print settings
- Business graphic display
- Information Broadcasting: Distribution to Portal, Print, Send as PDF
If there is no Java server, these functions are not offered to the user in the interface.
Generate print version
This entry chooses the PDF generation service. You can choose:
- ADS (default)
Generation by Adobe Document Services. - SAP
Generation by SAP BI Export Library, which is in an SAP NetWeaver Application Server with Usage Type BI Java (from Release 7.02).
If the application is in barrier-free mode, the setting SAP is selected automatically, because this ensures that the required data is transferred for the screen reader.
To create the print version in your system, you must perform further configuration steps. See: Set-Up Web Dynpro ABAP ALV Print.
Standard export format
Determines the default data export format.
