In this step you create scenario types. On the one hand, the scenario types are used to classify the scenarios and on the other, to provide a scenario with the default settings of an evaluation type.

Example

You could classify all available scenarios into the types "Bull scenarios" and "Bear scenarios", for example.

Recommendation

To retain an overview, keep the number of scenario types to a minimum.

Activities

  1. Enter an ID and a description for the scenario type.
  2. Assign the scenario type an evaluation type.
  3. Save your entries.

Further notes

The yield curve types, volatility types etc., as part of the default settings for the evaluation type, are obligatory settings for the scenario.
