In this step you define key figures. The key figures you define here are accessed in the Create form and Create report steps.
Reporting is based on the key figures you want to evaluate in your reports. This includes basic key figures, as well as values determined by combining these basic key figures (calculated key figures) using mathematical operations (formulas).
You can also store texts and special output parameters for each key figure.
The key figures can either be included in the form or the report. In contrast to this, characteristics can be included in both the form and the report.
Activities
- Choose Create to create a new key figure.
- Give your key figure an ID and enter a suitable description.
- If appropriate, assign the key figure to a key figure group.
- Link any number of key figures and constants together. To do this, either use the standard mathematical operations (+,-,*,/) or more complex functions.
