If you want the system to derive characteristics during the transfer of data into an analysis structure, then you need to make the necessary settings in this step.

Activities

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. In field AnStr, enter the key for each analysis structure in which the data transfer is to take place.
  3. Set indicator Act to activate the characteristic derivation for this analysis structure.
  4. In field OpCo you can enter an operating concern if required.

    If you enter an operating concern, then if the field name is the same, the characteristics of this operating concern are supplied with the characteristics of the analysis structure, the derivation strategy assigned to the operating concern is applied, and the contents are reset to the analysis characteristics.

    In this way you use the derivation already set in SAP Banking Profitability Analysis. The supply of the single transaction costing characteristics at the time of data transfer is not affected.

  5. In field Seq. you can define whether a possible derivation from the operating concern is to take place before or after the derivation from the analysis structure area.
  6. Choose Save.
