In this step you assign the valuation rule to a view and to a summarization rule. This enables you to control how the system determines the valuation rule for transactions that can be summarized.
For accounts and variable transactions, these valuation rules are drawn directly where summarization is active. Valuation rules stored in the financial object are ignored.
For loans that are summarized, this is the default assignment, which means that if the valuation rule is maintained in the corresponding financial object, then it is this rule which is applied. If the valuation rule in the financial object is not maintained, then the system applies the default setting.
Activities
- Enter the appropriate fields view, summarization rule and valuation rule.
- Then choose Save.
