Use
In this IMG activity, you can define default values for displaying payment plan items (PPIs) in the dialog (display and change insurance objects). You can completely hide PPI display or define the maximum number of PPIs that are to be displayed for an insurance object-business partner relationship.
If you restrict the display, the system displays non-archived PPIs before archived PPIs and structures the display within both groups, dependent on the validity date for the PPI.
The values defined here are regarded as default values for all insurance object. However, you can adjust this value in the initial screen for each function.
Background
If many payment plan items exist for an insurance object-business partner relationship, this has a negative effect on system performance when displaying an insurance object, and in the change dialog. Restricting the PPIs displayed leads to an improvement in system performance.
Note
Note that if the system does not display or read all PPIs for an insurance object-business partner relationship, the bandwidth is severely restricted for the functions available on the Payment Plan and Payment Plan Items tab page. For example, it is no longer possible to change payment plan data, or create, change or delete PPIs.

Activities
- Select Yes (X) in the Hide PP field, to completely suppress PPI display,
or
- Enter the desired number of items to be displayed in the Number of PPIs field.
Warning: Only make one of the settings here, as both fields will otherwise be filled in the dialog.
