Use
In this IMG activity you choose the root organizational unit to which your team structure is subordinated. This means that managers automatically have the worklists of their hierarchically lower-level team members assigned to them.
From the SAP Easy Access screen you can choose Postprocessing Office -> Worklist -> Change Assignments and have the option of not only assigning users to the worklists, but also the root organizational unit or subordinate organizational units.
Requirements
In the SAP Customizing Implementation Guide under SAP Net Weaver -> SAP Web Application Server -> Business Management -> SAP Business Workflow -> Edit Organizational Structure you have mapped your team structure.
Note: You can assign various organizational units to the root organizational units that can be valid during different periods. For determining the organizational unit that is valid at a certain time, the current system date is used as basis.
Example:
You want to assign organizational unit PPO 2006 to root organizational unit PPO, that is valid indefinitely from 01/01/2006. You want PPO 2006 to be valid from 01/01/2006 until 12/31/2006. From 01/01/2007 you want organizational unit PPO 2006 to be replaced for an unlimited period by PPO 2007.
You define the validity periods of the individual organizational units accordingly. As soon as the system date is 01/01/2007, the valid organizational unit is automatically no longer organizational unit PPO 2006, but PPO 2007. The root organizational unit PPO still applies.
