Use

In this IMG activity you define worklists for the various employee teams who manually process postprocessing orders using the Postprocessing Desktop.

Requirements

Think about how many different worklists you require for the postprocessing orders that need processing and the criteria according to which you want to divide the postprocessing orders among your team members. Note that each postprocessing order can only be contained in one worklist.

To define which postprocessing orders get into which worklist, in the Customizing for the Postprocessing Office, choose Worklist and carry out IMG activity Assign Worklists to Business Processes.

Standard settings

Activities

To define a worklist, specify an alphanumeric key (maximum four characters) and a description.

If you do not make a separate entry for all business processes in IMG activity Assign Worklists to Business Processes, meaning you do not explicitly assign a worklist to all business processes, you have the following options:

  • In this IMG activity, define a standard worklist. This standard worklist is then the one for all business processes to which you do not explicitly assign a worklist in IMG activity Assign Worklists to Business Processes.
  • In IMG activity Assign Worklists to Business Processes, create a "generic" entry for which you specify just one worklist, but no business process. This worklist is then the one for all business processes to which you do not explicitly assign a worklist.

If you both define a standard worklist and create a generic entry and specify different worklists, the system only takes account of the generic entry.
