Use
In this IMG activity, you define metrics groups. Metrics groups group multiple metrics for a single object type together. The following entries are mandatory:
- Object Type
Select an object type, for example, STG Project Charter.
- Metrics Group
Enter a technical name for the metrics group.
- Name
Enter a name for the metrics group.
- Description
Enter a description for the metrics group.
- Display Final Value Indicator
This indicator determines whether the Final Value field is displayed on the Metrics Management user interface for all metrics in a metrics group. If you select the Final Value indicator on the Metrics Management user interface, the values of the metric cannot be changed.
- Data Type
The data type specifies which values the metrics in a group can contain. You can define the fields as a currency field or date field, for example.
- Metrics Unit
This indicator specifies whether currencies and units of measure can be displayed on the user interface for each metrics group and metrics value type.
- If the indicator is selected, a Currency column and a Unit of Measure column are visible for each metrics group on the Metrics Management user interface.
- If the indicator is not selected, a Currency column and a Unit of Measure column are visible for each metrics value type on the Metrics Management user interface.
