Use
If you did not create an aggregation rule when selecting the entry object for the display on the user interface, you can use this IMG activity to enter this rule later on. If you did not create an aggregation rule means if you did not enter any values under Display Format or Value Range for the object type that the system calls as the entry object type by means of a default indicator in the key figure monitor.
Predefining (using a report) or subsequently entering the rules ensures that different aggregation rules can be specified for each application object and that aggregation rules are not globally applied on a group-definition basis. The rules apply to the automatically created, superior group headers (see Prerequisites). This means that aggregation rules must be subsequently entered for each object.
We recommend that you use reports or BAdIs to fill this table. Do not enter rules subsequently by means of the IMG activity.
In this IMG activity, you can enter aggregation rules for each group header at the highest level of key figure assignment on the user interface. The rules include the following:
- Arithmetic operations for a key figure group
- Worst status
- Alert settings
You access them by means of the object type. The system displays the objects for each object type (determined using the GUID displayed).
- Arithmetic Operation of Key Figure Group (arithmetic operation for a group of key figures)
When you define an arithmetic operation for a group, you determine which value in the group causes the status change in the group.
- Worst Status
Instead of using the arithmetic operation, you can specify that the status of the group always follows the worst status of a key figure in the group.
- Alert Setting
You specify which alert setting applies to a group when the status of a key figure changes, that is, which key figure status or key figure status change causes a message to be sent.
Requirements
- You are using the key figure monitor user interface.
- You have defined key figure groups and have already determined key figures.
