Use

In this Customizing activity, you create the distribution model and distribute it to the SAP Portfolio and Project Management system.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. In the IDoc Interface / ALE Implementation Guide, choose Modeling and Implementing Business Processes -> Maintain Distribution Model and Distribute Views.
  2. Create a new model view.

    You can use an existing model view, but it may be easier to distribute a new model to the target systems. Since the model view is time-dependent, you should set the start to the beginning of the calendar year or earlier and leave the finish at the system high date (31.12.9999).

  3. Add the message type.

    Message Type:
    RPMFIF

    Sender:
    Logical system of the SAP R/3 FI-CO system

    Receiver:
    Logical system of the SAP Portfolio and Project Management system

  4. Generate partner profiles.

    Select the model view you created and choose Environment -> Generate Partner Profiles.

    1. Execute the report for generation of partner profiles.
    2. The generation log shows: Generation Status of Partners, Ports, Outbound Parameters
  5. Distribute model view.

    1. Select the model view you created and choose Edit -> Model View -> Distribute.
    2. Select the SAP Portfolio and Project Management target system (if not already selected) and continue.
      3. You should now see the model view in the SAP Portfolio and Project Management system.
