Use

In this Customizing activity, you can check the default settings SAP delivers for the fields of specific Portfolio Management object types. These settings include the following:

  • Field configuration, which influences the way in which the field values are processed by the backend system
  • User interface configuration, which controls the way in which the fields are represented and processed in the user interface

    If authorization activities are specified in the Activity column of the user interface configuration, there can be multiple entries for one field. In this case, the field will be handled differently, depending on the authorization of the user accessing a Portfolio Management object. For example, a user with Admin authorization for object can edit a particular field, whereas it is read-only for a user with Write authorization.
