Use
In this Customizing activity, you configure portfolio settings for object link types that are assigned to project elements and that are to be evaluated in portfolio processes. To do this, you must configure SAP Portfolio and Project Management specific attributes.
This configuration step is required for SAP Financial and Controlling (FI/CO) integration.
Requirements
You have created object links in Project Management by choosing Project Management -> Structure-> Define Object Types for Object Links.
Standard settings
Activities
For each object link type that you have created for project elements in Customizing for Project Management and which is to be evaluated in portfolio processes, perform the following steps:
- Select an object link type and double-click Portfolio Add-On to Object Link Types.
- Specify the relevant application and logical system.
Example
You have created an object link to an internal order in Project Management. You want to add this object link to the business process of SAP Portfolio and Project Management, such as financial planning of an item. To set the relevancy for financial upload, you specify the object type Internal Order as the relevant application by selecting SAP Controlling Module in the Appl. column.
