Use
In this Customizing activity, you configure the settings that the system needs for the automatic query of system availability for the SEFAZ and SCAN systems. You are required to query this status and can control the status query dependent on your batch planning or document volume. To do so, you can use the following parameters for each combination of Brazilian region and system environment:
- Issue type of nota fiscal (NF)
- Frequency of status query in seconds
- Official version for XML files with electronic notas fiscais (NF-es)
- Time zone
- SCAN check: The following options are available here ->
- SEFAZ Has Priority, SCAN Is Also Checked: The system availability of the SEFAZ system is checked first; if SEFAZ is unavailable, SCAN is checked. If both systems are available, the NF-es are sent to SEFAZ.
- SEFAZ Has Priority, SCAN Is Not Checked: The system availability of the SEFAZ system is checked first; SCAN is not checked. If the SEFAZ system is unavailable, the NF-es cannot be sent to SCAN.
- SCAN Has Priority, SEFAZ Is Also Checked: The system availability of the SCAN system is checked first; if SCAN is unavailable, SEFAZ is checked. If both systems are available, the NF-es are sent to SCAN.
If the status query reports that the system is available, SAP BusinessObjects Nota Fiscal Eletronica (SAP NFE) continues the electronic communication process. In case of system failure, you can continue the process manually in the application monitor.
Status check
You can start program /XNFE/CHECK_SRV_STATUS_MANUAL to check the availability of the SEFAZ and SCAN systems. This program lets you monitor the status of SEFAZ and SCAN by region (CUF), environment, and version and then decide which system you want to use. This information enables administrators to decide whether a manual change to SCAN would be beneficial, based on insufficient performance in SEFAZ. Another reason for changing to SCAN would be an announcement regarding a temporary deactivation of the SEFAZ system.
