Use
In this Customizing activity, you can enable the support feature of the Security Assertion Markup Language 2.0 (SAML 2.0).
Requirements
Transaction SAML2
must be present in your system.
Standard settings
Activities
- Using transaction
SAML2
, enable SAML 2.0 support.
The default provider name is <system ID>_<client>.
Change the default by adding a company- specific prefix, for example: <company>_<system ID>_<client>.
Register the provider name for your organization with the target platform of the external service provider. - The IdP certificate can be found on the Local Provider tab; choose Metadata. In the dialog box, select Service Provider and choose Download Metadata.
- Open the XML file.
- Extract and save the part that is shown in the tag < ds:X509Certificate >.
