Use
With this Business Add-In (BAdI), you can use the methods required when using the entries of the ABAP SMI service registry (tables CLB2C_GW_SRV
(Customer) and CLB2S_GW_SRV
(SAP)).
The methods are used in connection with the following use cases:
- Sharing objects with an external service provider.
- Sending notifications to an external service provider.
Requirements
- You actively use the ABAP SMI service registry for OData services.
- You also use the service mapping functionality that is represented by the secondary tables
CLB2C_GW_SRV_REL
(Customer) orCLB2S_GW_SRV_REL
(SAP).
In case of a service mapping, it may be required to also do a key mapping.
Standard settings
For the key mapping between a source and a target service, a fallback implementation that maps the key 1:1 exists. This means the result key will be the same as the input key.
Activities
Implement the BAdI for services that are to be mapped and for which the key cannot be passed to the target service as is.
