Use

This activity allows you to create a background job that will periodically clean up user-dependent data after the validity of this data has expired.

To perform this cleanup process, the report /UI2/PERS_EXPIRED_DELETE is run.

Standard settings

Activities

Create a periodic job.

  1. Click on the Create cleanup jobs activity.
  2. In the Job name field, enter a name for the cleanup job.
  3. Choose Start condition and specify the schedule for this job.

    Make sure to define a periodic job.

  4. Choose Step to define the steps for the job.

    The Create Step 1 dialog box is displayed.

  5. In the ABAP program section, enter /UI2/PERS_EXPIRED_DELETE in the Name field.

    The Step List Overview screen is displayed.

  6. Choose Back to return to the main page.
  7. Choose Save to save the schedule.
  8. In the main page, choose Save to save this new job.

The cleanup process will now run automatically according to the schedule you have defined.
