Use
If you want to use the 'Preference Processing' or 'Restitution' services in SAP Risk Management in addition to SAP Customs Management or SAP Compliance Management, you have to perform this IMG activity. If you want to use the SAP Risk Management services only, you do not have to make any settings in this activity.
In this activity, you activate the document types for the 'Preference Processing', 'Letter of Credit Processing', and 'Restitution' services in which you want to display preference statements or restitution information for products in SAP Compliance Management and SAP Customs Management.
In SAP Risk Management - Preference Processing, you can make a provisional preference statement for a product based on order data and a binding preference statement based on sales documents, such as a billing document. For the 'Preference Processing' service, you therefore activate the document types for billing documents and sales documents.
Requirements
You have already performed the IMG activities Define Document Types in SAP Customs Management or Define Document Types in SAP Compliance Management.
Standard settings
In the standard delivery of SAP Global Trade Services ( SAP GTS), the following document types are the billing documents and sales documents.
- CULOEX (Customs Declaration: Export)
- EXPORD (Customs Export Document: Sales Document Level)
- EXPINV (Customs Export Document: Billing Document Level)

Define the document types for the 'Preference Processing', 'Letter of Credit Processing', and 'Restitution' services.
