Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) component.
You can use this BAdI to automate the generation of reference numbers for communicating with customs authorities. You can freely define the criteria this BAdI uses to generate reference numbers. When a reference number is generated, you need to ensure that this number is unique.
This BAdI is called during the creation of customs declarations.
Once you implement this BAdI, the system automatically generates a reference number each time you create a document. The reference number is included in data exchanges with the system of the customs authority. One of its purposes is to assist in finding the respective customs declaration when electronic replies are received from customs.
