Use
When you transfer materials from the feeder system to the SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) system, the sstem can link the existing combinations of tax type and tax classifications from the feeder system with a corresponding combination of tax type and product tax group in SAP GTS. In this IMG activity, you define the assignment of the corresponding tax types/product tax groups. This enables the system to transfer the tax type/tax classifications from the material masters in the feeder system to the products in SAP GTS, and assign the tax types/tax classifications from the feeder system to the tax types / product tax groups.
If you only have one feeder system, or you use different combinations of tax type and tax categories in your feeder systems, we recommend defining the assignments at feeder system level.
Requirements
You have already defined the tax type and product control group in IMG activity Define Tax Types and Product Control Group.
Standard settings
Activities
Determine the group of logical systems, the country, and the region. Also determine the tax type and tax classification from the feeder system.
Assign the tax type and product tax group to the selected data from the feeder system.
