Use

In this IMG activity, you define administrative units for vendor declarations. In an administrative unit, you can group together all the enterprise entities (such a plants or plant groups) for which you want to request and dun, or issue and revoke, vendor declarations. This defines a unified view of your enterprise for the exchange of vendor declarations with customers and vendors.

Note: Check whether you have already defined a business partner that can adopt the role of an administrative unit. If you have identified a business partner (for example, a foreign trade organizational unit), you can assign it the additional role of administrative unit in this activity.

Requirements

You have performed the IMG activity Define Number Ranges for Business Partners.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Choose Organization to create an administrative unit.
  2. Assign the role administrative unit VD to the business partner.
  3. Define business partner data for your administrative unit.
