Use
In this IMG activity you can define groupings of rules and conditions for a rule set. You require the grouping since a preference rule can consist of several procedures linked with AND or OR. In the first step, you define a procedure group to summarize various different preference procedures. In the second step, you specify the procedures that feature in the procedure group, define the link for the individual procedures, and assign the required data.

Specify the rule set and a descripion for the procedure group.
Specify whether the procedures in the group are linked with AND or OR.
Assign the rule set and procedure group the procedures with the relevant sequence number.
Enter the relevant data for the selected procedures. The system helps you with the decision as to which data is relevant for a procedure. Only the relevant fields are ready for input.
Note
If you want to define a procedure to check a tariff shift, you can use the masking to determine how many places you want to implement the tariff shift for the procedure - for example, at the section, item, subitem level, and so on.
If you want to define a procedure to check for a tariff number, you can use range delimitation to define whether you want to exclude (E) or include (I) certain tariff number ranges for the procedure.
