Use
In this IMG activity, you activate preference agreements for your business processes. When you activate these preference agreements, you specify which processes in the feeder system trigger preference processing in SAP GRC Global Trade Services. You can choose from the following processes:
- For dispatch only
SAP GRC Global Trade Services only starts preference processing if you create a document for the dispatch of goods in the feeder system.
- For export processes only
SAP GRC Global Trade Services only starts preference processing if you create a document for exporting goods in the feeder system.
- For dispatch and export, excluding domestic activities
SAP GRC Global Trade Services starts preference processing whenever you create a document for the dispatch or export of goods in the feeder system.
- For dispatch and export, including domestic activities
The system starts preference processing whenever you create documents in the feeder system that are transferred to SAP GRC Global Trade Services. This is irrespective of whether the documents involve a dispatch, an export, or a domestic transaction.
- Check not activated
If you choose this variant, SAP GRC Global Trade Services does not start preference processing

Standard settings
Activities
Decide which processes you want to activate preference agreements for in the "Preference Processing" Service.
Note
Note that one preference agreement is sufficient for preference processing under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), while multiple agreements are possible in the European Union (EU).
