Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) for EDI inbound processing, /SAPSLL/ECC_INBOUND, is used in the Customs Management area of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). This Business Add-In (BAdI) enables you to modify EDI inbound processing for the documents in the following application areas and for supplementary customs declarations:
- Presentation
- Advance declaration
- Customs shipment
- Customs declaration
You can use it to intervene in the ALE inbound processing of logical messages of the type /SAPSLL/CUS_INBOUND and /SAPSLL/TRS_INBOUND, as well as to trigger your own processing routines – for example, to forward data contents to external systems or to change specific data in the documents.
By doing so, you intervene in the electronic data exchange with the customs authorities. Under the default settings, the system updates the documents with the most important data contained in the inbound messages from the customs authorities.
