Use

In this IMG activity, you define the documents with which you can either:

  • Send the customs authorities supplementary customs declarations for goods movements that you have released for free circulation in simplified procedures (for example, in the local clearance procedure)

    or

  • Send supplementary customs declarations for putting products into a customs warehouse procedure

    or

  • Discharge the customs warehousing procedure by releasing products for free circulation

Using the documents for periodic declarations, you can see which items and preceding documents you want to send the customs authorities periodically (for example, at the end of the month) within a specific procedure.

Requirements

You have already performed the IMG activity Define Number Ranges for Periodic Customs Declarations.

Standard settings

Activities

  • Enter a name and a short description for document type that is used for the periodic customs declaration.
  • Define whether you want to use the document type for the import or export process. The system determines the legal regulation based on this information
  • Specify which declaration category your document type pertains to. You can choose from the following options:
    • CUSE Declaration: Free Circulation
    • SCWP Declaration: Customs Warehousing Procedure
    • ECWP Discharge of Customs Warehousing Procedure
    • SCIP Declaration: Inward Processing
  • Choose a number range for the document type.
