Use
In this Customizing activity, you assign the previous document type in your feeder systme to the existing previous document types in the system for Global Trade Services (GTS). These settings are required to assign the user-defined previous document types in the feeder system to defined previous document types in the GTS system. If, in the receipt process, you save a logistics document from the feeder system (for example, inbound delivery or goods receipt) with a previous document type, the system determines the associated document type in the GTS system and, on this basis, can determine both the target procedure and the customs status of the product.
You can also specify the reference number type that you enter as a previous document number in the feeder system. Therefore, you can specify for the user-defined previous document types in the feeder system whether the associated number is a Movement Reference Number (MRN) or customs presentation number, for example. The system uses the number as a reference between the documents and papers that are associated with a delivery.

Choose the previous document type in the GTS system that you want to assign to the previous document type in the feeder system.
Enter the type of reference number.
