Use
In this IMG activity, you define which package type the system will use to report the sales unit of a product to the customs authorities for each customs code list procedure. Document items that you leave unpacked in outbound deliveries, such as bulk goods and liquids, still require a defined package type for reporting to the customs authorities.
You only have to carry out this IMG activity for package types that you have configured as packaging category Sales Packaging/Unpacked in IMG category Maintain Customs Code Lists for Legal Regulation. The system uses these settings for the document items that you transfer from the feeder system without shipping packaging.
Requirements
You have already defined a procedure for customs code lists.
Standard settings
Activities
Define the customs code list procedure that you want to use to assign sales units to package types.
Select the sales unit and assign the package type that you want the system to declare to the authorities.
