Use
The customs authorities have their own compulsory classification of modes of transport. SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) uses the same classification of modes of the as the customs authorities.
You have to define this assignment if the feeder system uses different classifications for modes of transport than the customs authorities.

Activities
In this Customizing activity, you assign the modes of transport in the feeder system to the modes of transport in the SAP GTS system. To do so, select the relevant customs code list procedure.
Recommendation
If there is only one feeder system or there are different modes of transport in a number of feeder systems, SAP recommends that you assign the modes of transport at feeder system level.
