Use
You can configure settings at the legal regulation level for customs processing prior to goods receipt. In this process, the system replicates purchasing documents and uses them as customs documents in SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS). If you use a customs document type for import processing prior to goods receipt in different countries, you need these country-specific settings, for example, for customs duty calculation based on the purchasing document data. You can assign the necessary profile for customs duty calculation for each combination of document type and legal regulation in the control settings.
Requirements
You have already performed the following activities in the Implementation Guide (IMG):
- Define the document type for the customs document
In this activity, you configure that access control takes place at the level of the document type and legal regulation. If you have not configured these settings, you do not have to perform this IMG activity.
- Activate the document type for the customs document to use the customs document in import processing prior to goods receipt in SAP Customs Management
- Define the calculation profile in the control settings for customs duty calculation

Assign the calculation profile that you want to use during customs duty calculation with the given customs document and legal regulation.
