Use
In this IMG activity you assign the various customs code structures from the customs authorities to the legal regulations that you have already created in SAP Global Trade Services. There are different customs codes for different countries or country groups. For example, Germany and the Eurpoean Union each have their own customs code list for the means of transport. These are not identical. It is therefore important to assign the customs code lists to the individual legal regulations in your system. By doing this, you specify which customs code lists are, theoretically, maintainable in the system for the combination of object, structure and legal regulation.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard settings for this activity already contain the assignment of the customs code structures for different object types, such as the declaration or package type in the legal regulation ATLAS (Customs Processing ATLAS - Germany) TRSDE(Transit Procedure NCTS - Germany).
Activities
Determine the legal regulation.
Enter the relevant value of the customs code list.
Determine the structure of the customs code list for the legal regulation.
