Use
In this Customizing activity, you define the conditions the system uses to control the application areas for a legal code. In this process, you define authorizations dependent on the legal regulation, for example, or the assignment of the process template that you want to use for the individual legal regulations. You also define the possible status of the authorizations and the corresponding time zones here.
The application areas of Customs Management are assigned to the following legal codes:

Requirements
Standard settings
The delivery Customizing already contains control settings, including the following:
The default settings for this activity contain the legal regulations and the following settings for the ATLAS (ATLAS customs processing system - Germany):
- Allowed statuses
- 0001 (Authorization Created)
- 0002 (Authorization Active)
- 0003 (Authorization Expired)
- Assign time zone to date type
- VALFRO (Start of Validity) - CET (Central Europe)
- VALTO (End of Validity) - CET (Central Europe
Activities
- Assign the process template to a legal regulation for a legal code.
- Then define the possible status of the authorizations.
- Assign the time zone to a deadline type.
- You can also simplify the upload of customs records by specifying a reference to a legal regulation. If you do so, you only have to upload customs duty rates that are valid in several countries once, as long as you use the legal regulation as a reference to control the Customs Processing service.
