Use
In this Customizing activity, you can configure a determination procedure in which you define dynamic field labels for certain fields of the user interface in Customs Management. In the process, you can select the fields for which you want to create a custom field label from the full list of allowed document fields at header and item level. You can enter labels in different languages for each document field. In the application, the system determines the language version that corresponds to the user's logon language.
Because fields can have different functions, dependent on the process, you have to assign the determination procedure for the field label to the activity sequence in an additional step: Define Control Settings for Communications Processes.
Assigning the determination procedures to activity sequences enables you to configure different field label determination procedures, to ensure that the proper, process-specific labels are displayed at all times.

Create a determination procedure for the field label.
Assign the determination procedure the fields that you want to give custom field labels, depending on the specific process.
Enter the desired labels of a field for each desired language. The maximum length of the field labels is 20 characters, which is also the defined length of the field labels in the application.
