Use

In this Customizing activity, you define the feeder system and the function modules in the feeder system that you want to call from excise duty monitoring in the Global Trade Services (GTS) system when relevant events occur. To do so, you can specify the reason for the feeder system call that defines the process variant for communication with the feeder system. You can then define the various function modules that the system calls using a Remote Function Call (RFC), dependent on the combination of this reason and the foreign trade organization in a feeder system.

Requirements

You have already activated system communication to enable the call of the feeder system.

  • You carry out the Customizing activities to define and assign logical systems in Customizing under Global Trade Services -> System Communication
  • You define the RFC destinations and settings for the RFC call in the area menu of the application under System Administration -> System Communication

You have also defined the foreign trade organizational unit in Customizing activity Define Foreign Trade Organizations.
