Use
In this IMG activity, you define the external customs duty rates for data upload and assign the customs duty rates of SAP GTS to them.
Requirements
You have performed the following IMG activities:
- You defined a numbering scheme for the customs tariffs system in the IMG activity Define Numbering Scheme for Tariff Code Numbers.
- You assigned the numbering scheme to the legal regulation for import in the IMG activity Assign Numbering Scheme of Tariff Code Numbers for Customs Processing.
- You have defined a business partner with the role of "data provider".
Note: During the customs record upload, the system maintains the legal regulations, along with the countries or country groups to which the customs records apply, and assigns them to one another. You have to assign specific legal regulations to countries and country groups at the country of origin / destination country and activate them for the service manually. To do so, you have to carry out the following IMG activities:
Standard settings
Activities
Enter the data provider and the legal regulation.
Assign customs duty types to the respective SAP GTS customs duty type.
The external customs duty types are predefined as follows:
- B000 (Antidumping)
- B001 (Standard Rate or Third-Country Duty)
- B002 (MFN (Most Favorite Nations) Bound)
- B003 (MFN (Most Favorite Nations) Applied)
- B004 (GSP (Generalized System of Preferences) or Preferential Customs Duty)
- B005 (NAFTA preference)
- B006 (Suspension)
- B008 (Pharmaceutical Products)
- B00X (Other)
Not all of the above customs duty types will need to be mapped for every data provider.
Example
For legal regulation ATLAS (ATLAS Customs Processing System - Germany) and data provider BZ (German Federal Gazette), you define that external customs duty type B001 (Standard Rate) be mapped to customs duty type B100 (Third-Country Duty) in SAP GTS.
