Use
In this IMG activity, you can extend the list of fields that you want to use as source or target fields for data defaulting. You only have to extend this list if you transfer customer fields to SAP Global Trade Services in the documents from the feeder system and want to use these fields for data defaulting.
Requirements
You transfer customer fields in documents through implementations of Business Add-Ins (BAdIs). You can use the following paths to reach the BAdIs for transferring customer fields, in the Implementation Guide (IMG) of feeder system mySAP Enterprise Resource Planning (mySAP ERP):
- Sales and Distribution -> Foreign Trade/Customs -> SAP Global Trade Services - Plug-In -> Business Add-Ins for SAP Global Trade Services -> Change and Expand Document Data for Transfer
- Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Foreign Trade/Customs -> SAP Global Trade Services- Plug-In -> Business Add-Ins for SAP Global Trade Services -> Change and Expand Document Data for Transfer
Standard settings
The standard settings already contain all the standard document fields that you can use in data defaulting for customs shipments and customs declarations. Changes and/or deletions to the provided entries count as modifications.
Activities
Enter the name for the customer field (in namespace Y* or Z*) and its description under Default Field. You can only add entries to the list that come from this namespace.
Enter the technical data that the system needs to determine the field during data defaulting.
If you want the system to list this field in the input help for the desired source and target fields - and provide a field help function - for the definition of the data defaulting rules, you can specify the screen field for the corresponding field.
If you set the indicator for the source field, you can use the customer field as a source field during data defaulting.
