In this Customizing activity, you can define incompleteness checks for the documents from the following application areas in Customs Management:
Presentation
Excise duty monitoring
Advance declaration
Customs delivery
Customs processing for import and export
Customs shipment for transit procedure
You can exchange the documents from these application areas with the authorities in electronic communication. You can define field checks for each message. You summarize all the field checks for a message in a check procedure. Finally, you assign the check procedure to the corresponding message in Customizing activity Define Messages for Communication Processes.

Define all the document fields that you want to assign to your check procedures
Define a check procedure.
For complex incompleteness checks, you assign a function module to the check procedure. You can use the following function module as a template for programming your own complex incompleteness checks: /SAPSLL/INCOMP_CHECK_TEMPLATE.
Assign document fields to your check procedure. You can specify the following checks for each document field:
Field length
Field type (numeric, alphanumeric, character field)
