Use
In this IMG activity you define the item categories for customs shipment. You must define all item categories you want transferred from the feeder system document to SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS). The customs item category controls the text determination schema. The system also uses the combination of item category and document type to choose the relevant service in SAP GTS.
If you want to transfer documents from SAP GTS to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NW BI), you have to set the Transfer to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence Active flag. Please note, however, that the transfer to SAP NW BI is only possible if you have activated the respective document type, the corresponding item category, and the corresonding foreign trade organizational unit. To do so, set the appropriate flags in IMG activities Control at FTO Level for SAP NW Business Intelligence (BI) and Define Document Types.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard setting for this activity already contains the item category for customs shipment CLPOS.
Activities
Enter the item category for customs processing.
Enter a description for the item category with a reference to the feeder system.
Assign a text determination procedure if required.
