Use
In this IMG activity you define the document types for the Transit Procedure and Customs Processing services in SAP Customs Management. For each document, you also define specific parameters (for example, in the columns below):
- Number ranges
- Action profiles
- Partner grouping
- Log control
- Text determination procedures
If you want to transfer documents from SAP GTS to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NW BI), you have to set the Transfer to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence Active flag. Please note, however, that the transfer to SAP NW BI is only possible if you have activated the respective document type, the corresponding item category, and the corresonding foreign trade organizational unit. To do so, set the appropriate flags in IMG activities Control at FTO Level for SAP NW Business Intelligence (BI) and Define Item Categories.
Requirements
You have already carried out the following IMG activities:
- Define Number Ranges for Documents
- Define Groups of Partner Functions
- Define Text Determination Procedures for Customs Shipments and Customs Declarations
Standard settings
The standard settings already contain the following documents for the 'Transit Procedure' and 'Customs Processing' services:
- CULOEX (Customs Shipment: Dispatch / Export)
- CULOIM ( Customs Shipment: Arrival / Import)
Activities
Create a document type and a description.
Enter the following details about the document type:
- Process (import or export)
- Number range number (number ranges for the document type)
- Service log (whether you want a log for analyzing and correcting errors)
If you want to control processes in SAP Customs Management solely by the document type, enter the following parameters for controlling access:
- Partner grouping
Note that you can assign only one partner grouping for each document type.
- Action profile
- Log control
- Text determination procedure (for the document type)
If you want to control processes in SAP Customs Management using a combination of the document type and the legal regulation, carry out the Process Control at Document Type Level and Legal Regulation Level activity.
