Use
When you are transferring documents from the feeder system to the SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) system, the system links the document types in the feeder system with corresponding document types in SAP GTS. In this IMG activity, you define how these document types are to be assigned.
If you do not perform this activity, the documents that you create in the feeder system will be blocked from further processing. In this case, SAP GTS cannot assign the document type that is transmitted from the feeder system.
If a number of feeder systems have identical document types, SAP recommends that you assign the document types at the feeder system group level.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard setting for the application level is the billing document, as only this document is of significance to SAP Customs Management.
Activities
Determine the group of logical systems that combines your feeder systems.
Enter the external document category that you want to assign to a customs document.
Assign the document type from the feeder system to a
customs document.
