Use
When you transfer purchase orders or billing documents from a feeder system to SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS), the system can link the selected price condition types in the feeder system with a corresponding duty type in SAP GTS. In this IMG activity, you define the assignment of the corresponding value types. This lets the system transfer values from the purchasing documents (or additional values from the billing documents) from the feeder system to documents in SAP GTS, as well as assign the value types from the feeder system.
The system also needs this assignment if you start a simulation of customs duty calculation in an external application, based on a purchasing document in the feeder system.
If you only have one feeder system or if several different value types exist in your various feeder systems, we recommend assigning the value types at feeder system level.
Requirements
You can only transfer additional price conditions from the feeder system if the feeder system fills the appropriate component (CVL) of the interface in the BAdI for mapping and extending the data from purchasing documents (MM0A) and/or in the BAdI for mapping and extending the data from billing documents (SD0C).
You can configure these BAdIs in the Implementation Guide in the feeder system, under the following paths:
- Sales and Distribution -> Foreign Trade/Customs -> SAP Global Trade Services - Plug-In -> Business Add-Ins for SAP Global Trade Services -> Change and Expand Document Data for Transfer
- Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Foreign Trade/Customs -> SAP Global Trade Services- Plug-In -> Business Add-Ins for SAP Global Trade Services -> Change and Expand Document Data for Transfer
Note that the settings in the BAdIs in the feeder system do not apply when the customs calculation simulation is called from external applications.

Activities
Choose the application level for purchasing documents or billing documents.
Determine the feeder system and the price condition type from the feeder system.
Assign the duty types to the selected price condition type from the feeder system.
