Use
The system for handling Global Trade Services (GTS) enables electronic communication with the customs authorities. There are various electronic message types for the communication process between the GTS systems and the customs authorities.
This Business Add-In (BAdI) enables you to modify the result of message determination for the documents in the following applications and for supplementary customs declarations:
- Presentation
- Advance declaration
- Customs shipment
- Customs declaration
- Administrative document
This means that you can replace messages delivered with the standard system with your own message types.
Requirements
These message types are already assigned to the individual communication processes in Customizing. See also Defining Messages for Communication Processes and Defining Processes for Communication Processes .
Standard settings
Data is exchanged electronically between the GTS system and the customs authorities using an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) converter. Messages that the GTS system sends to the customs authorities are sent to the EDI converter in IDoc format. The converter converts the IDocs to EDI message format. The customs authorities read the messages and send back a confirmation to the GTS system in the form of an EDI message via the converter. The EDI converter converts the EDI messages into IDocs and forwards them to the GTS system.

MSG_DET_RESULT_MODIFY
You can use this method to modify the result of message determination. The following parameters are available:
