Use
In this IMG activity, you assign partner numbers at feeder system group level to facilitate communication between your feeder systems and SAP GTS. These are partner numbers of your plant locations in the feeder systems. If you do not perform this activity, documents posted in the feeder systems are blocked from further processing, as the feeder system cannot determine any corresponding partners in SAP GTS. If the prerequisites below are fulfilled, this option of assigning partner numbers at feeder system group level can reduce data maintenance considerably.
Requirements
The feeder systems have the same organizational structures and the master data is harmonized, that is, it is unique in each of the feeder systems. For more information on master data requirements for this IMG activity, see the IMG documentation for the activity, Define Logical System Group.

Complete the following activities:
Partner Function Mapping: Enter a group of logical systems and a partner number and save your entries.
Partner Number Mapping: Enter the logical systems group, the partner number and the legal unit to which you want to map the data in SAP GTS, and save your entries.
