Use
In this IMG activity, you assign the company codes in the feeder system to the organizational units in SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS). If you do not perform this activity, documents posted in the feeder system are blocked from further processing, as the feeder system cannot determine any corresponding organizational unit in SAP GTS.
If you only have one feeder system, or if several of your feeder systems have different organizational structures, you assign the company codes in this IMG activity at feeder system level. You can assign several company codes to one organizational unit in several different steps.
If you have several feeder systems with the same organizational structure, you assign the company codes at feeder system group level. For more information, see the IMG activity Assign a Company Code at Feeder System Group Level.

Activities
Complete the following activities:
- Automatically Transfer Company Code
We recommend you use this function as an initial step to transfer all you company codes from your feeder system to SAP GTS to ensure all your data is transferred correctly. You can test the automatic transfer function by first performing the assignment in Simulation Mode. You need to enter the feeder system and the foreign trade organization to which you want to assign all the company codes from the feeder system.
It is important that you check the automatic transfer afterwards to ensure the assignments are those you want. You can do this in the manual assignment activity described below.
You can completely reassign all the company codes from your feeder systems by checking the indicator Overwrite Existing Records.
- Manually Assign Company Code
We recommend you use this function to check automatic transfers of company codes and to assign new company codes manually.
