Use

In this activity, you define the number ranges that you need to model the preference models in preference processing.

Activities

  • Create number ranges for the preference models that you want to use in preference processing.
  • You have to use the following number range numbers, depending on which preference model you want to use:
    • 01 - Plant-based preference model
    • 02 - Plant from a plant group for the cross-plant preference model
    • 03 - Cross-plant preference model
    • 04 - Preference model for configurable bills of product
  • You have to define a separate number range for each year. Therefore, we recommend defining the number ranges for the next ten years now, to ensure that you still have valid number ranges in the new year.
