Use
In this Customizing activity you define the legal regulations for all import and export processes that you use to process your foreign trade activities. If you use SPL (sanctioned party list) screening or areas of Customs Management, for example, you have to create the respective legal regulations that represent the legal requirements of the various processes.
The legal regulations are assigned to legal codes for categorization by the system. You use the attributes of the legal regulation to control the processes in the application.

You have completed the Customizing activity Define Country Group.
Standard settings
Activities
Perform the following activities:
- Legal regulation
Define the legal regulation by entering all the necessary data. - Assignment of date types
Assign a date to the legal regulation, for example, the end of the declaration period (depending on the type of legal regulation). - Assignment of country groups
In this field, you define the countries for which the legal regulation applies in the individual import and export processes by assigning a country group to the legal regulation.
