Use
In this Customizing activity, you define the groups for the value and quantity depreciation of import and export licenses that you need for documents in business transactions. When you use licenses in business transactions, the values or quantities in the used authorizations are depreciated. You define depreciation groups to simplify the depreciation process and enable the system to carry out the depreciation correctly.

Activities
When you create a depreciation group, you enter a description. This lets you describe whether the group is used for import licenses or export licenses, or whether you use the license for sales documents or billing documents, for example, in your feeder system.
To use the depreciation groups, you have to carry out the following activities after you define the depreciation groups:
Define the depreciation of values and quantities in the definition of license types and control the visibility of value and quantity entries in the status definition of the license types: Define Types of Licenses
