Use
In this IMG activity, you assign the partner roles from the feeder system to the partner functions you define in SAP Compliance Management. If you do not perform this activity, documents posted in the feeder system are blocked from further processing, as the feeder system cannot determine any corresponding partner functions in SAP Compliance Management.
If you have only one feeder system, or if several of your feeder systems have different organizational structures, you assign the partner functions in this IMG activity at feeder system level. However, if your feeder systems have harmonized customizing and master data, you can complete the IMG activity Assign Partner Function at Feeder System Group Level.
Requirements
You have completed the IMG activity Define Partner Functions and Define Groups of Partner Functions.
Standard settings
Activities
Complete the following activities:
- Automatically Transfer Partner Function
We recommend you use this function as an initial step to transfer all your partner functions from the feeder system to SAP Compliance Management to ensure all your data is transferred.
You can test the automatic transfer function by first performing the transfer in Simulation Mode.
You need to enter the feeder system and the select the type of partner functions that you want to transfer from the feeder system. Select the appropriate partner function in SAP Compliance Management to which you want to map the feeder system partner functions.
It is important that you check the automatic transfer afterwards to ensure the assignments are those you want. You can do this in the manual assignment step described below.
You can completely retransfer all the partner functions from your feeder system by setting the indicator Overwrite Existing Records. - Manually Assign Partner Function
We recommend you use this function to check automatic transfers of partner functions and to assign new partner functions manually.
