Use

In this IMG activity, you assign the field descriptions for the additional product characteristics from the feeder system to the technical field parameters that define the placement of values on the database. By making this assignment, you define for example the length of the values that can be maintained for different types of product characteristics. As a result, you also determine in which fields the system stores the material attributes from the feeder system as product characteristics in SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS).

You have completed the IMG activity Define Product Characteristics of the Feeder System.

Standard settings

Activities

Select the technical parameters for the database fields. The field length corresponds to the maximum permitted length of the values for the product characteristics.

Assign the additional product characteristics to the technical fields.
