Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI), which adjusts the periodic, automated customs declaration for the Netherlands, Geautomatiseerde Periodieke Aangifte (GPA), is used in the Customs Processing area of SAP GRC Global Trade Services.
This BAdI lets you modify GPA customs declarations (which are required only for the Netherlands) by changing data in existing declaration items. You can use GPA customs declarations to process customs warehouse-relevant transactions in the Netherlands that are relevant for monitoring by the customs authorities.
If you use GPA customs declarations, you have to create a customs declaration in SAP GRC Global Trade Services as a document for every single business transaction within a defined period. You collect the transaction-specific declaration data within this document, without communicating it to the customs authorities initially. You then group together all the customs declarations for the individual transactions in the define period in one GPA customs declaration. Under the default settings, when you create a GPA customs declaration in SAP GRC Global Trade Services, the system selects the customs declarations for all single transactions that contain the following procedure transitions:
- Transfer from a third country to a customs warehouse
- Transfer from the customs warehouse to re-export
- Release from the customs warehouse to free circulation
- Transfer from a customs warehouse to a transit procedure for subsequent re-export
If any other procedure transitions are used, the process results in a termination. When you use one of the specified procedure transitions, the system copies the information from the customs declaration for single transactions to the GPA customs declaration as document items.
